Thunder Alley Sports 2008 WNYMA RG3 Suspension Spring Series Race Report !
Hi,
The WNYMA’s 2008 season is in full swing with the completion of the RG3 Suspension Spring Series sponsorship on June 8th. One event was snowed out in April… still the WNYMA hosted 3,244 racers at 9 RG3 Suspension Spring Series events for a 360 rider average. Just 5 riders shy of the 5 year WNYMA Spring Series average rider count !
Tuf Powersports is the WNYMA’s Summer Series sponsor… Thanks to Tuf Powersports owner and former WNY Pro / Am motocross rider Andy Stacy ! Stacy will be joined this Saturday night with AMA 2008 Privateer of the Year Pauly Carpenter, Bobby Kiniry, Jack Carpenter, Thomas Addy, and other pro riders at a benefit dinner for former AMA Pro rider Joe Nothnagle who recently lost his battle with stage nine Brain Cancer.
Dunlop Tires has posted a $7,000.00 WNYMA Summer Series contingency program paying all 25 WNYMA classes [with at least 5 riders signed up in] $15.00 for 1st, $10.00 for 2nd, and $5.00 for 3rd Overall. All in Dunlop Dollars and redeemable for Dunlop Tires at any authorized shop !
The WNYMA’s Kick the “C” out of Cancer Series raised just under $1,500.00 for the James P. Wilmot Cancer Center at the University of Rochester Medical Center…Thanks to RG3 Suspension, CRF’s Only, Troy Lee Designs, Pivot Works / Hot Cams, Don George’s, RTT Stabilizers, Watkins Glen International [NASCAR], Schrader Racing, and Ricky Carmichael… PLUS we still have one week end left !
Saturday night June 21st at Silver Springs Racing is the Joe Nothnagle Memorial Dinner… sponsored by Barilla Pasta, Dunlop Tires, and the Pro’s listed above are signing autographs.
Sunday June 22nd at Silver Springs Racing is the 2nd Annual Atomic Racing VS Thunder Alley Sports VS the World Team Challenge ! Last year 12 teams signed up 5 rider teams at $50.00 per team raising $700.00 thru the spirit of team competition !
The WNYMA Scott USA / Acerbis North East Gold Cup Championship Series presented by FMF Racing kicked off last Sunday at Area51 Motocross with 500 riders hitting the 2007 WNYMA Track of the Year. The next NEGCCS event is June 29th at the Palmyra Racing Association… so we still have time to properly promote your companies products at 5 more NEGCCS events and 4 Tuf Powersports Summer Series events !
